Waiting to Exhale
Tonight Jena and I are going to celebrate Valentines day. So are baby is done cooking and she is officially on simmer. I think we are ready for her to come on out and visit. The official due date is closing in fast... well not fast time is crawling. We read that basil and oregano are better than Pitocin to start labor so Jena has been eating spoonfuls of dried spices in hopes of sparking some contractions. We are now officially ready for the baby: the house is clean, the refrigerator is stocked, her room is ready, we have diapers, all of Alex's kongs are accounted for, the video camera is charged, so is the camera, the car is packed, Jena is packed, the baby is packed, the call list is done, snacks have been packed for me, batteries are in all the swings and bouncy seats, the cars are all gassed up, her bed is made, the bassinet is made, the mix CD is burned, we are preregistered, the car seats are in and inspected by the police, and there is more that is done. So now we wait.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

you forgot one thing....have you been getting 14 hours of sleep a night? enjoy laying in bed together in the morning while you can.
Yeah, take the 14 hours and cut it into 2 hour increments- also just remember every time you go to take a bite of your hot dinner or sip your hot coffee.. pause, then listen because you'll hear the pretty little cry that says "Come get me" and then be ready to eat your cold dinner, sip your cold coffee- and actually after a while you don't mind so much. SHE IS WORTH IT!!! I can't wait for her arrival. Love you guys!
