An open apology/sympathy

Well another night of low sleep and high drama. I would first like to apologize to every parent on the planet for looking down my nose at them when they had a child that was un-consolable. I now know what its like and I feel for you all. Becoming first time parents is a crash course on child care. It's overwhelming but with out hesitation I can tell you it a wonderful and rewarding experience.

Marin was a tad fussy last night. Along with the doubt and fear we felt, we now have a Little better understanding of what Marin wants and needs. Nature is funny on how she teaches. She pulls no punches and you get the point and you get it fast. In the new Politically Correct world it's good to know that good old mother nature isn't afraid to offend anyone and gets her point across pronto.

Jena and I had all the peeps in this morning Dr., Nurse, Lactation consultant, medical records lady, cafe lady (lunch lady), cleaning lady and a few others too. The best part is we have a sign on the door saying Do Not Disturb..... yeah right!!
Well we go home today.... It's marginally terrifying. We are excited to get home and introduce baby to fur baby.

We are having Portuguese style Matzoh ball soup for dinner tonight. I'm ready to go home and introduce Marin to her new life.

A special thanks to everyone!!!
And now "we are in the know" with lots and lots to learn.

Finally! now you may be able to understand us. Call if you need anything! Hang in there it gets easier but terrifying at the same time. You two are wonderful people and will be the best Marin could ever ask for. Enjoy going home it's stressful but feels real good. Thinking of you guys ( and smiling a bit on the inside since you can now understand) Love

Jena and Paul- I remember our first night home so well. EJ walking around with Addison in her car seat to try and soothe her and me........ totally anxious and worried and unable to relax despite him trying to give me a break!

Each day will get easier and you'll learn how to soothe her and it will get easier. Isn't it an amazing love?
